yes. in the newest version there is a thing called home sharing. type in the same thing on both computers and you can wirelessly send the bought things on one computer to another. you can just copy any free stuff you have downloaded off of cds and things straight ont the second comp using a flash drive.

If you are in need of a library card, then you can visit your local library for a card. You can make an account there. I don't really know anything about card catalogs. For me i visit the library and go to the helping center to create a library account and they just give me a library card. :)
