I have just had my first period at 10 and don't know how to ask my mum for some tampons and pads?

You simply say to her: "mom, I've started my period, can I get some pads please?".
Tampons aren't recommended at your age due to higher risks of Toxic shock syndrome, and nor for your first few cycles as you won't know your flow well enough to know what absorbency to use to reduce your risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Use pads for now, and if you want to use internal options consider menstrual cups as these are far safer than tampons and will make your periods easier.

There is nothing to worry about! Just remember to stay calm. If you mess up just take it out and start again. If it gets stuck (DONT WORRY THIS IS UNLIKELY) then try and wetting your vagina with water or waiting a bit longer for your tampon to fill up. If you have any problems, talk to your doctor, friends, mum, sisters, anyone who you trust.

I totally agree with the previous answer. You can also use scented tampons or pads. This will also help. If you follow all this advise, you should not have any order. Except maybe to a dog! First of all, use tampons if you can. Pads just reek!! Second stay clean. Shower alot!! Keep your tampons orpads under control. Don't wait to change them, if you do this you should not smell I doubt very much that anyone else can smell you when you have your period. DO NOT use scented tampons as they interfere with your natural vaginal flora and couyld make things worse.

Well im not a model...But,i came across an article on period--Which says that you can use Tampons or Cup (Diva Cup).These products are actually insered in the viginal and afterwards removed.For more info, just type Tampons or Diva Cup on Google.....Not sure if MODELS Use it

im not 100% sure but usually its just because your not changin your tampons or pads as much as you should be , the gross odor's indicate this as well
