I have possession of a new bike I traded with title signed to me and bill of sale the seller is trying to file a lost title and take possession of the bike again I want to keep it what do I do?

If the selling dealer pays for some repairs on a car you bought "AS IS" then count yourself lucky that the dealer went above and beyond what he legally was required to do. If you are trying to get out of the contract on this technicality then you did not deserve the fair treatment the seller gave you. No court would ever void the contract because the seller helped you when he did not have to.

In your question, only ONE of the sellers signed the contract. Therefore there is no legal contract. Basically, you can't sell something you own jointly with someone else without their permission. Sounds like Seller #1 was trying to sell the home without Seller #2's knowledge and/or permission!I would advise the buyer to get a real estate attorney if he doesn't get his deposit back. And if either party used a real estate agent, they should contact the National Board of Realtors and make a complaint.
