Did you add coolant to the radiator? it's possible that you knocked the lead off the sensor. Check both things. That's pretty much all it can be.
If the heater blower has humming noise when motor is running, first check its capacitor. If the capacitor is fine, then the motor is the problem and may need to be replaced.
Sounds like a pulley may be freezing up. Have a mechanic check the pulleys.
Typically, a heater failure in any car is the result of a bad thermostat. This is usually easily replaced (check a Chilton's manual for your model vehicle before you pay to take it to a mechanic). If the thermostat has been replaced and the problem persists, it could be a blocked heater core, which will require the assistance of a mechanic.
Check the heating elements in the water heater. These may be bad and need replaced.
I would check to see if your heater core is plugged. I recently had the same problem and I flushed the heater core with fresh water from both inlet and outlet hoses(I used a garden hose with one of those nozzles that you can change the water pattern and set it on full). That fixed the problem for me.
The problem is the blend door, not the heater core. Any mechanic worth anything should have checked and replaced the blend doors while it was apart to replace the heater core. Check heatertreater.net for diagnostic information and some real help.
heater core plugged or air locked check to see if hoses going to heater core are hot
Check the heater valve and/or the controls to the valve. maybe a problem with the controls, most of them are run off of vacuum, if a hose has a hole in it, it wont work
Check into the temperature control valve--this is different than the thermostat.
First check the water level. Low level will not get to the heater core. Change the thermostat. If you recently changed the thermostat, bleed the coolant system.
Check coolant level Check to make sure heater core is not air bound Replace thermostat Check the operation of the heater control valve/cable
I had this problem once with a different vehicle. You may check the heater control. That may be the problem. Hope this helps.
