In years 5-7 you can go to knock turn alley and go into the vanishing cabinet
Everybody, except perhaps the Death Eaters, are glad, relieved and absolutely overjoyed that Lord Voldemort is finally gone forever.
He goes below the school, and finally defeats voldemort to get the philosopher's stone, stopping voldemort from returning to full power.
May 2nd. That is when Harry Potter (finally) finished off Lord Voldemort. Yay!
Harry's mother wouldn't let voldemort kill harry and protected harry as much as she could until voldemort killed her. When voldemort finally tried to kill harry potter he was already protected through the power of love so the most damage voldemort could do was giving harry the thunderbolt shaped scar along with part of himself. When voldemort accidentally gave harry part of himself it drained his power leaving voldemort to vanish until he could regain his strength.
Voldemort tried to kill Harry many times, however it didn't exactly work out for him. When Voldemort tried to kill him for the first time he didn't succeed because Lily died to save Harry yet Voldemort did not understand this and still sent the killing curse towards Harry which of course back fired and destroyed Voldemort's body as well as the Potter's house. Voldemort didn't die because he had created six horcruxes which stored parts of his soul in objects important to him - until these were destroyed Voldemort couldn't be killed. Unknown to Voldemort was that when he tried to kill baby Harry and ended up hitting himself his soul split again and one of those bits attached to Harry - the only living thing in the house. That is why Voldemort was never successful at killing Harry any time after that (and because Harry had learned to fight back) had Voldemort hit Harry before then, say in the graveyard in Goblet of Fire, Harry wouldn't have died but the part of Voldemort's soul inside him would have (although Voldemort would most likely have hit him again with the curse after neither of them could explain what had happened). When Harry finally realized all of this (Voldemort was still unaware) he allowed himself to be hit by the killing curse, which didn't kill him but the part of Voldemort's soul inside him. All the other horcruxes were destroyed which meant that when Harry and Voldemort had their final showdown whoever was hit with a killing curse would have died. Had Harry not been quick enough then yes; he would have died.
*Spoilers* Snape was working as a triple agent for Dumbledore the whole time to help Harry finally stop Voldemort. Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him because he was already dying.
If you're asking for the final result in the great battle, Lord Voldemort is finally beaten by Harry Potter.
Actually now that I think about it he didn't see him until the 7th book near the end where Voldemort is bragging to everybody about killing Harry and then Hagrid flips cuz he can't find Harry's "dead" body.
This can have a number of different answers. Voldemort attempted to kill Harry when he was one. Harry finally killed him when he was seventeen (almost eighteen). This took sixteen years. Voldemort gained his body back when Harry was fourteen (almost fifteen). This took two years. The final battle took several hours. The showdown between Harry and Voldemort didn't take long and only two spells were cast. It was mainly Harry telling Voldemort what he did wrong and explaining the 'flaw in the plan'.
That was right after Harry found out, using Snape's memories, that he was the 7th Horcrux of Voldemort, which was accidental. While Harry is with Dumbledore, Harry asks if they should help the baby, and Dumbledore told him that it can't be helped. That baby was what would be left of Voldemort. When Harry died, the part of Voldemort's soul that was in Harry also died. Therefore, that baby was a representation of Voldemort's dying soul. JK Rowling later tells everyone that after Voldemort was finally killed, he was that same old, suffering baby that no one could help.
If you read the first few books, you know harry saved Ginny from a basilisk in the first book. She was posessed by Voldemort, and was forced into helping the basilisk kill people. Finally, Ginny and Harry being to date, kiss, etc. However, Harry breaks up with her because he is afraid that Voldemort will use her to get to him. Finally, Harry defeats Voldemort, and Ginny and harry get married and have children. - Harry saved Ginny from the basilisk in the SECOND book-Chamber of Secrets. Ginny also did NOT kill people, she petrified them! Voldemort was NOT reincarnated- he was a memory of himself when he was a young boy known as Tom Riddle.
