I just got a proform XP 130 used with no directions attached and changed batteries but can't get the thing to work it seems you select a program and start or is another process or switch somewhere?

There doesn't seem to be a switch on mine, it just comes on when you start going. I just use batteries b/c it didn't come with an ac adaptor......does yours have an ac adaptor? hope this helps. jordan
You can easily download the user manual from the customer service link on the proform website. It is a pdf document, 28 pages. I suggest that you double check the assembly of the unit. Improperly assembled exercise equipment can cause serious injuries. PS, mine didn't come with an AC adapter either. O.
