The only way to lose weight and keep it off is a combination of regular cardio exercise, some weight bearing exercise and a restricted calorie intake, and you have to keep it up. I put on 20 kilos (40lbs) due to a hormone imbalance and lost it all in 3 months by jogging/walking for one hour to two hours every day (you could also do an at home aerobics routine or an evening walk when your husband/partner if you have one is home to take care of kids), and eating bran, banana and yohgurt for breakfast, two Ryvitas with low fat cottage cheese and tomato for lunch and a grilled chicken thigh or breast with salad (carrot, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, onion etc as much as you like) and no fat dressing for dinner, no dessert, no snacking, no juices, no softdrinks, no alcohol, no chocolate, no chips, no anything else. Alot of water as well! Because you have been pregnant and might be breastfeeding you should probably add two glasses of no fat, calcium enriched milk every day as well and should check with your doctor about having the right diet. Also take a vitamin supplement high in B group vitamins as this helps fat metabolism. Do this for 3 months with daily vigorous 1 hour of cardio/swimming or 2 hour moderate intensity walk coupled with a bit of light weights and some squats, lunges, tricep dips and crunches and you will be back in shape in no time and can then relax your diet to some junk food on the weekends (but maintain your strict diet during the week). I also take Seaweed Kelp supplements sometimes as they can boost your metabolism a bit, but I don't know about this if you have just been pregnant and might be breastfeeding. Please do check with your doc first though. Hope this helps. I found that doing the 'weekend diet' thing where I let myself eat whatever on weekend helped me keep it off after I lost the weight, cos if all you ate was what I said above every day you'd get pretty sick of it. I have heard of phantom pregnancies lasting as long as seven months!
Most pregnancies last 3 months on average.
For humans, nine. Other species may have longer or shorter pregnancies.
Most pregnancies do not begin to show until 5 months or later. It also depends on how big the woman was before hand. Thinner girls tend to show earlier.
It is possible to become pregnant 3 months after delivering a baby, but the gestational period is generally 9 months in normal healthy pregnancies.
Horse's pregnancies generally go for 11-12 months
Faster than what? Elephant pregnancies last for approximately 22 months.
For most driving habits, 3 months 3000 miles.
About 3-6 months
Medically, there are no special concerns with consecutive pregnancies as long as the mother is generally healthy otherwise.
Even though a kitten does not stop fully developing until 8 - 12 months, a female cat is sexually mature by the age of 6 months and from this age she can become pregnant. It is recommend you have your female kitten spayed when she is between 4 and 6 months old if you want to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
