you should find a sticker in the engine compartment that has this diagram on it, if not you'll need to get a repair manual.
1983 was the last year ford made the f100.

I have the same truck/engine. Found mine on Autozone.com. Just register and pull up the Repair manual for your truck. You can even print it easily, but it is difficult to follow.
My guess would be your alternator is going bad. better get it checked out pronto.
The vacuum diagram can be found in a service manual. Your local library may have a copy of the manual that you can check out or copy the diagram from.
