elecronics need fixing or alternator need replacing elecronics need fixing or alternator need replacing
A new battery or one that tested good is in the vehicle and the car is still losing power. the alternator is what charges the battery while the vehicle is operating.
Yes, on some BMWs the alternators are water cooled. (from standing in front of the vehicle) look on the right to find the alternator, if it has a solid case attached to the engine and a pulley it is water cooled.
Disconnect the batery cable from the battery while the vehicle is running, if it dies, you need a new alternator there, buddy.
You will need to know your vehicle information. After you have all of your vehicle information you will be able to research which oil filter you need.
There are a few reasons why your alternator might keep going bad such as rusty latches under the car. You may also have leaks, dents, or parts that need to be replaced on the vehicle that are effecting your alternator.
If an alternator light keeps coming off and on, this may indicate that the voltage output of the vehicle is going up and down intermittently. This may mean the alternator may need to be replaced soon.
It sounds like you simply need to change the alternator. Easy test: if vehicle will start, carefully remove the ground/negative cable from the battery (may help to llosen slightly beforehand). If vehicle runs, turn on lights; if it still runs, the alternator is fine. All vehicles should run on alternator only. If the vehicle sputters and dies, the alternator is dead. Replace alternator, and VERY IMPORTANT, fully charge battery before engaging alternator. A weak battery can damage a new alternator causing alternator death.
you will need to get a request for motor vehicle information
You can get information on vehicle tracking from a vareity of websites that are dedicated to this topic. Simply perform a websearch on vehicle tracking to get the information you need.
this depends on what you plan to run in the vehicle the more electronics you have (e.g. stereo amplifiers) the more amperage you will need to keep the battery charged generally speaking this vehicle should have a 40 amp alternator at minimum
First you need to remove the negitive battery cable. Then you need to remove the a/c line bracket. it is attached to the right side on the motor. unscrew the lift hook from the right side of the engine. Remove the electric plug and battery cable from the alternator. Unbolt the alternator and remove.
