Some systems need to be reset, like disconnecting the battery for a few hours, some have a reset button, and some need a special tool(tester) to do it, also, there may be a bad sensor bad in the circuit.... the library should have a shop manual with a section on diagnsis...good luck:)
Sorry, only some G35's come with back-lit steering wheel functions.
you have to have the computer reset by the dealer
screws on the back side of the steering wheel
you need a steering wheel puller, you should have 3 bolts holding the wheel on, remove them, place wheel puller in position and thread 3 bolts (usually fine thread ) in the place of the 3 you removed , now using a wrench screw center of wheel puller til steering wheel is pressed off, noting that there is a mark on spline where wheel goes back on, any other position you try to put wheel on it will not fit properly you need a steering wheel puller, you should have 3 bolts holding the wheel on, remove them, place wheel puller in position and thread 3 bolts (usually fine thread ) in the place of the 3 you removed , now using a wrench screw center of wheel puller til steering wheel is pressed off, noting that there is a mark on spline where wheel goes back on, any other position you try to put wheel on it will not fit properly
Underneath the steering wheel, way back toward the firewall. It is light blue in color.
If a steering wheel has lights, there should be a way of accessing them. You want to look for some screws or pins on the back of the steering wheel. If none can be seen, the steering wheel may be pried apart to access the bulbs.
The alignment angle called caster helps with steering wheel return.
It is for the tilt steering wheel. Pull it out and you can adjust your steering wheel. Push it back in when it is set at optimum for you
Okay a Mazda and a Ford pick up are basically the same thing so first check the top part of the cover directly behind the steering wheel. If there is a small removable cover there, remove it and look inside. You should see a what appears to be a small bolt going straight down. As you turn that bolt it will gradually force the steering wheel off. If you don't have the small cover, there are four small bolts on the back side of the steering wheel to remove the air bag. Once the airbag is off you will see a large nut that has to be removed. Once removed you will need a steering wheel puller to force it off.
What aspect of the steering wheel/system? If you just want to raise or lower the steering wheel, there should be a handle on the left side of the steering column about halfway between the back of the steering wheel and the dashboard. Just push the handle down to unlock and adjust the steering wheel and up to re-lock it once it's in the desired position...
look back and when you turn your steering wheel left it goes right so turn the steering wheel the opposite way
