Chi's tend to bond heart and soul with "their special person". Your chi may have chosen someone other than you to bond with. Given time and patience your chi may come to bond with and adore you, spend lots of extra time with. When it gets into your lap give it lots of cuddling and kisses. Walk it, feed it...become the one in which it depends on for food, exercise and all the essentials. But keep in mind that becoming the object of a chi's affection can be difficult if you lead a busy lifestyle outside of your home. My chi sleeps with me, travels with me and goes most everywhere I go. If I have to go somewhere for a long extended time my chi must be able to go with me, or I can't go. Having a chi make you "their special person" has great rewards...no love is greater than a chihuahua has for it's human. Getting your chi to bond will take time and patience, but chi's are so easy to love that it'll be fairly easy.
