It could just be a coincidence. You can borrow, rent or buy an OBD2 code scanner from most auto parts retailers. Plug it in, follow the directions and see what your vehicle's computer is trying to tell you. The light just means that there is an error code stored inside the computer. The code scanner will tell you what it is, then you won't be guessing.
