Could be your IAC (idle air control)is stuck or quit working. If you have no fault codes,it is almost always a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake manifold (upper or lower)or perhaps a broken or disconnected vacuum hose.If your engine is getting air from somewhere other than your IAC it will increase you idle speed. Check and make sure your throttle is coming back to the stop on your throttle body.Hope this helps. Jim
probably a bad idle air controller.
Most likely computer controlled and not adjustable
A bad IAC (Idle air control valve) or a vacuum leak or both.
Don't mess with that adjustment. The idle speed is electronically controlled.
Check your vacuum hose.
Speed Sensor The sensor is located on the rear axle housing.
Could be many things change your fuel filter first or could be an idle air control solenoid problem .
the radiotor or the cams
You can start with the 02 sensor. if that does not fix the problem then you may have to consider the ECU.
ford suck. go Chevy
Trouble code P0506 means: Idle control system, rpm lower then expected
On a 1995 Ford 4.0 liter V6 engine : I believe that is 39/40 PSI ( 30 PSI at idle ) fuel pressure
