CohabitationThis is exactly why moving in with a boyfriend is such a low-percentage move. Agreeing to cohabitate is one of those things that appears on the surface to be a deep commitment but isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Oh, wait a minute. There IS no paper it's printed on. Well, no difference.

When two people agree to live together -- even without the solemnization of marriage -- it is implicit that they are in a committed, exclusive relationship. The fact that you are bored or that someone else may like you -- or that you are attracted to someone else! -- means little. If you are going to continue to live with BF, then you must remain faithful. Boredom with BF and curiosity about others aren't legitimate reasons for cheating.

Having said that, you aren't married. Living together might be financially advantageous and sexually convenient, but it's barely a cut above being in an exclusive, committed relationship with someone who lives in his own apartment.

So, if you're not happy, move out. But don't pretend it has anything to do with clearing your head. You already know you're not happy with BF and don't want to live the rest of your life with him. You already see greener pastures elsewhere. Your head doesn't need clearing. You just need to clear out.
