oh its just to much sugar. I'm 17. I'm ADHD. You can't really know if some is ADHD until about 7 years old
Any kind of sugar is bad for kids and has no nutritional value, a lot of processed food has sugar as an additive, so he's probably getting more than you realize. Avoid any processed foods and feed fresh vegetable (raw or cooked as little as possible) and fruits.
i dont give my son sugar he drinks water and milk and rarely eats candy bad for the teeth
No, it doesn't. Sugar makes ADHD symptoms worse.
If your son has ADHD that only thing that could really be adding to his hyper activity is sugar and caffeine. It is recommended to remove these from a child's diet who has ADHD.
It depends but usually some people get hyper by eating or drinking things with a lot of sugar. Other people might get hyper when "awesome" things happen no! not sugar or anything kids act like they are witch anoys me. the only way your hyper is when your exited or you have ADHD witch mean Attion Defict Hyperactivtiy Disorder whe your really hyper! i have it too!
It does not, it makes anyone hyper. Adhd is a whole different disorder
Yes and no. For me (I'm ADHD) it does, some it makes hyper.
There are many things that can make you become very hyper. For one, Caffeine. It's found in coffee, sugar, syrup, sodas, etc. Also it can be natural too. People who have been diagnosed with ADHD have hyper activity naturally so when and if they drink caffeine they get more hyper.
Not necessarily. hyperactivity is a part of ADHD but hyperactivity it self is not adhd. This must be diagnosed by a medical professional and the subject may have adhd or is just a hyper type of person.
I would consider giving a child with adhd foods with less sugar in them. This would help to keep your child from being so hyper all of the time. This is the first step that you can take in creating a diet for your child.
Natural stage of behavior ADHD Sugar High fructose corn syrup Food coloring (no joke, look it up) Various mood disorders This list could go on and on Hope this helps! Erika RN
it means you have Adhd all the time and you had to much suger
Without medication, ADHD affects sleep. That person will stay up all night long because they are hyper due to the chemical imbalance in their brain.- [Personal experience] Yes it can. But not everyone's sleep is interrupted because of ADHD. If you believe this is a cause of any sleeping problems then you shouldn't eat any sugar on an empty stomach within two hours of preparing for bed. By doing this you will not be hyper and you will be able to concentrate on sleeping.
Well depending on the type of ADD/ADHD you have it's could be too little of the (for the sake of this explanation) focus hormone, or if you are a hyper focuser you produce to much of it. the first is more common. Hope this helped!
