The Alternator.
There should be a little light next to the off button. Its green when the battery if fully charged, its orange when its charging/ needs charging and its red when its got very low battery. I hope this helps you :D

Your battery is not being charged because of a problem with the charging system Whether its a problem with the alternator / voltage regulator , the serpentine belt etc . you should have the charging system checked
battery weak or alternater is not charging battery. a fully charged battery should read at least 14.5 volts running if alternater is charging.with engine off the battery should read about 13 volts,
It probably needs a new battery. When you start charging a phone that is still half charged it takes a small bit of capacity out of the battery. Take it to the dealers and have them look at it.
battery will make a gurgling sound when being charged while being charged, the acid(liquid) in battery heats up. u should not hear this in normal conditions in a vehicle should only hear it when on a battery charger check that sides of battery are not bulging.this is a sign that the battery is about worn out and is over charging, have battery, alternator and coplete charging system checked. batteries give off a gas when charging if overcharging, this gas is highly explosive and any small spark can ignite it
This is a loaded question. The new battery should be charged, but it should not require charging, it should be charged between 80 and 100% when sold with out any extra attention. Most motorcycle batteries operate in thwe 80% to 90% charged range depending on how they are used.
Perhaps the alternator is not charging the battery adequately check with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read around 12.8 (without engine running) With engine running reading should be 13.8-14.2
No, the charger should not cause harm; but it will waste mains power.Rechargeable batteries should be allowed to be almost fully discharged before recharging. Recharging a partly charged battery will shorten its life.
Perhaps alternator is not charging battery sufficiently, test with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running With engine running reading should be approx. 13.8-14.2volts
