Section 3(1) applications - children born in the United Kingdom to parents who are not settled in the United Kingdom and are not British citizens. The UK Home Office will consider a request under the above section but the granting of UK Citizenship if they think it reasonable under the circumstances. There is NO automatic right to UK citizenship by foreign nationals just by being born in the UK.
