It could mean severalthings:
1. The wife is extremely jealous and has forbade him to talk to any other women.
2. The man is lonely ... perhaps his home life isn't going well, and he enjoys some casual fellowship.
Just because a man talks to a gal doesn't necessarily mean that he is looking for a romp in the sheets ... there is much more to life and friendship than sex.
