If a guy you like responds to your emails fairly quickly but always keeps them short and to the point does it mean he is not interested in any further relationship?

Okay, the bulk of my relationship with a man currently has been through email. We began as simple, platonic friends that emailed. He would email me back frequently and several times a day but with brief emails. He more or less only responded to what I said or brought up. I went back and forth on this issue of ...does he want more...is he interested in more? Blah blah. Well, months later I found that he did/does have feelings for me. I think whenever a man makes that type of time to respond it means something. What it means is up for interpretation but for a fact he respects you enough to respond to you timely and consistantly. Like the other guy said ...he might just not have much to say but this doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy what you have to say to him. Why do women always try to read too much into the most trivial behavior? Maybe he just doesn't talk or write much. Perhaps a better indicator than the brevity of his e-mail replies would be the fact that he hasn't asked you out.
