If a man asks to marry you and does not tell one of his children could that mean anything?

Yes it does and there could be various reasons, but you need to sit down with your future husband and have him be up front with you and discuss all aspects of what your life is going to be like as far as the children are involved. If the children are younger then of course they don't want their father replacing their mother and it will take time to regain their trust. It's important you make it clear to them that you are not trying to be their mother, but would like to be their friend. Also, make it clear to your future husband that it is up to him to dicipline his children if this is the arrangement you have made with his children. If they are older kids and out on their own, then your future husband could have problems between himself and his daughter/son. It's not right that he doesn't tell him/her. I think you will agree on this. It doesn't matter what problems there are between parent and child, they have a right to know. Please sit down with your future husband and discuss this. It's extremely important and you want the freedom of choice as to whether he really loves you or wants a babysitter for his children if they are young. If he can't deal with the one child that he has not told then that should tell you a lot about the character of the man you are going to marry. It means he's either arrogant enough to feel this one son/daughter isn't worthy to tell re the upcoming marriage or they haven't talked in years and he's just plain stubborn.
