If a man got back together with an ex because of a baby then married her 2 years later but held the child through the whole marriage ceremony did he marry the woman for the child only?

I think including the child and holding him or her through the ceremony symbolizes that the man is committed not only to the woman he is marrying but also to their child. Since the child came along before the marriage, to me it symbolizes family unity...they're ALL in it together. Sounds like the miracle of parenthood has caught up to both of them and they are in love and what a beautiful way to symbolize the joining of all 3.
