How do you change high temperature refrigerant and high pressure refrigerant in to low temperature refrigerant and low pressure refrigerant?

You cool it and run it through a metering devise.

Why freon gas compressed in compressor in ac?

Air conditioning works by having the refrigerant undergo changes of state of the refrigerant between a liquid and a vapor, and also through heat exchanges, where heat is absorbed by the refrigerant, and is then exchanged to the ambient air both in the condenser and evaporator. In order for the heat absorbed by the refrigerant to be able to be exchanged to the ambient air, the temperature of the refrigerant must be significantly higher than that of the ambient air. Compressing the refrigerant into a high pressure vapor (which the compressor does) increases the heat of the refrigerant, as, when under high pressure, the molecules rub together more frequently, thus generating additional heat to the heat already absorbed by the refrigerant. This facilitates the heat transfer necessary for the proper performance of an air conditioning system.

lose the heat from the refrigerant

When charging a system with vapor refrigerant from a refrigerant cylinder the cylinder will become?

Lighter, as the refrigerant is boiled off, and colder, as it has absorbed heat, and has a lesser pressure to reflect the current temperature / pressure relationship for the type of refrigerant

Where is the compressor cycling switch on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe?

It isn't so much a "cycling switch" as a pressure sensor. When refrigerant pressure drops below a specific pressure the sensor turns the compressor off. Since the sensor is on the "low side" of the refrigeration system, pressure can drop once the compressor pumps refrigerant to the "high side", then once the refrigerant is allowed past the orifice, the pressure will build up again on the "low side", and the compressor will briefly turn back on. If that's what's going on with your AC system, have the refrigerant tested and add some if necessary. That SHOULD solve your problem.

What steps does one take to complete refrigerant recovery?

In order to have a successful refrigerant recovery, one must ensure the manifold gauge is set, set the valve, monitor the pressure and gross weigh while filling, and shut off the valve once the ideal pressure and weight are reached.

How is the refrigerant cylinder pressure kept above the system pressure when a system is being charged with the vapor from a cylinder?

Add refrigerant vapor on the low side of the system ,the compressor raises the pressure of the refrigerant on the high side of the system and lowers the pressure on the low side
