take FIRST day of last period and add 280 days. that is method used by most ob/gyn's today. can also use Naegele's Rule which is extremely reliable and has been around for ages. ob/gyn's still use it today, but many have gone to the 280 day calculation mentioned above b/c it is considered even more accurate. both are highly regarded due date calculators. Naegele's Rule - take 1st day of last period, subtract 3 months, then add 7 days. Example - if 1st day of last period was November 15 2008, due date would be August 22 2009 Take a pregnancy test and get checked out right away by an ob/gyn or midwife if you suspect pregnancy! The most simple way to detect early pregnancy symptoms is through the menstrual cycle. If a women misses her menstrual cycle then she may have early pregnancy symptoms.
the earliest this can detect pregnancy is 5 weeks after last menstrual cycle so yes the tech. may be abl;e to see the embryo.
A full-term (human) pregnancy cycle may generally be considered to last from 37-40 weeks. Variations in individual mothers and other circumstances relevant to pregnancy may shorten or lengthen (without any complications) the time between gestation and birth.
Get a pregnancy test.
If it was an ectopic pregnancy, you would still show positive on a pregnancy test. Do you have any other pregnancy symptoms? I would not consider pregnancy unless you feel you may be pregnant from some other sign.
No, your cycle may be late this month due to many possibilities (ie: stress) but if you still think that you might be, it doesn't hurt to take a pregnancy test.
They are not signs of pregnancy, but you may be pregnant and have them.
The abnormal period is the result of the Etopic pregnancy. After a miscarriage or Etopic pregnancy your menstrual cycle may be effected for the next few periods. If your next period is unusual, see your doctor about some tests to rule out a hormonal imbalance.
You don't have a normal "menstrual cycle" when on Mirena, although you may have vaginal bleeding. Pregnancy with Mirena is unlikely whether or not you are bleeding.
Not necessarily if your cycle has always been irregular. However, if your cycle runs like clockwork, you have had unprotected sex since your last period, and your period is definitely late, you should take a pregnancy test or see a doctor because you may be pregnant.
It may last for one week or so..
Yes, but at sixteen you may still have an irregular period. You should get a pregnancy test. That's the best way to tell!
