If my car does not pick up speed when pushing the gas what is wrong?

You are not getting enough gas or you could be having transmission problems. Try replacing your fuel filter. If that does not fix the problem, have the fuel pump tested. You can also install a new air filter. If none of that works, it could be your transmission.
