Your phone is designed for a specific type of battery and charger. Don't use anything else. If it won't charge, something is wrong. Do not attempt to use alkaline batteries, as they are not rechargeable and might explode if recharge is attempted.

If your phone is more than two years old, consider simply replacing it. Most carriers will give you a free or heavily discounted phone after two years. It is not really worth the trouble to attempt to troubleshoot or repair these modern phones.

Can you charge both batteries on a diesel by putting the charger on one battery?

This depends on how the batteries are connected and what the voltage of the charger is.Open a discussion question page with this information for a complete answer.

Can you use a 120v dewalt battery charger in Europe with 220v without a voltage converter without damage to the charger or battery?

No, by doubling the input voltage to the charger which is just a transformer you will be doubling the output of the charger. Batteries like to be charged at about a volt and a half above their working voltage.

Can a motorcycle battery charger be used to charge a lawn tractor battery?

If both batteries are of the same voltage (12 or 6) yes, you can use the charger. make sure that they are of the same voltage.

Ibought a used golf cart the batteries were all dry i filled them but the battery charger would not charge the batteries it is a 2002 club car?

the collective voltage of this cart is 48 volts . fully charged it will be anything up to 51 or 52 volts . If the voltage of your batteries is less than say 41 volts because they are very very low then your charger will not kick on. You will have to charge the batteries one at a time using a car battery charger. The golf cart charger you have will only turn on and charge when the batteries are above a certain voltage . You are obviously below that. Or you batteries are simply no good at all because they were dry for to long . Go to your local batteries plus store and have them check them for free.

Can you use lithium batteries instead of alkaline batteries?

Careful Answer: SOMETIMES. But ALWAYS check the label of the lithium battery in question to make sure it is rated for "1.5v" before attempting to use it as a replacement for an alkaline battery. Explanation: Alkaline primary batteries have a nominal voltage of 1.5v per cell. Lithium primary ("primary"=disposable) batteries USUALLY have a nominal voltage of "3v" per cell. There are some Lithium primary cells, AA's for example, that have a nominal voltage of 1.5v per cell which makes them a suitable replacement for alkaline batteries. To complicate matters, however, there are rechargeable lithium-ion cells in the AA format which have a nominal voltage of 3.6v per cell, and more commonly there are "Lithium Phosphate" AA's which have a nominal voltage of 3.2v or 3.3v per cell. Using either of these as a replacement for alkaline batteries would be potentially destructive for both the batteries and the device you install them in.

Do electric golf carts require 110 volt or 220 volt outlet?

Electric golf carts operate from a DC voltage supply which is supplied by batteries. These batteries have to be charged on a regular basis. The voltage the battery charger operates on is governed by the manufacturer of the battery charger. Check the nameplate on the charger to see what voltage AC is required. Usually the chargers operate on 110 volts, but in some high capacity chargers they will operate on 220 volts. The nameplate will tell you what voltage is needed to operate the charger. That depends on the charger being used. Either is available.

Can a battery charger also test a battery?

A battery charger can be used to test a battery if the charger includes a voltmeter, so you can read off the voltage. Note: A battery charger is designed to be used only for rechargeable batteries. It can be very dangerous to try to use a battery charger to test or recharge normal non-rechargeable batteries.

Will an Energizer battery charger charge other batteries?

Whether it says it will or not, battery chargers will charge any battery, as long as they are for the same voltage. The charger puts out a set voltage, it doesn't know whether the battery is Energizer or not.

Why do you prefer NiMH batteries?

There are several advantages of NiMH batteries compared to ordinary alkaline batteries: 1. They can be recharged hundreds of time. So a single NiMH battery can literally replace hundreds of alkaline batteries over its lifetime. This saves money, results in fewer batteries being discarded, and uses fewer resources. 2. The voltage of NiMH batteries is relatively constant with use. The voltage of alkaline batteries decreases as the battery is used. For example a flashlight dims with use when using alkalines. But with NiMH batteries, it will stay bright until the batteries are exhausted. 3. Due to the low internal resistance of NiMH batteries, the voltage does not drop nearly as much under a load as alkaline batteries. 4. Also because of the low internal resistance, the capacity of a NiMH battery does not drop very much under heavy loads. This is why you can typically get many more shots with a digital camera if you use NiMH batteries rather than alkaline batteries. 5. NiMH batteries can deliver a much heavier current. Some devices, such as high power flashlights, cannot run (or cannot run for long) on alkaline batteries (at least on the highest settings). NiMH batteries are required to make the most of these devices. 6. Alkaline batteries may leak when they get old and/or are discharged too quickly. This can destroy whatever device they are used in.

Can the same battery charger be used on both 17.5 ah and 35 ah batterys?

As long as the charger is outputting the correct voltage for the batteries in question it will work just fine.

If a circuit has two AA alkaline batteries how many joules of energy does each coulomb of charge?

You need to multiply the number of coulombs by the number of volts. If the two batteries are in series, then you can add the voltage of both batteries.
