Not normally.

If kittens are telling each other that they will not harm one another, they sometimes yawn instead of the usual slow blink.

In that case, they both yawn one after another.

I'm pretty sure it came from the sound of when one "yawns."

When yawn comes out the other person gets it too how and why?

If I understand the question correctly, you want to know why the opponent catches Yawn when a Pokémon uses it. Yawn is a move that makes the other Pokémon fall asleep after one turn, so that's why the other pPkémon yawns as well.

Do you get drowsy if some one yawns close from you?

I don't know about "drowsy" but I have heard that if someone near you yawns, you yawn too. Like yawns are contagious. Yawns don't mean that you're tired. It also means that you're not getting enough oxygen, but that has not been scientifically tested.

What makes you yawn when someone else does?

A person yawns as a response to the lack of oxygen in one's bloods stream usually, but, depending on situation it varies. For example in the morning, it is to boost the oxygen intake so as to wake you up or in class, to get rid of your drowsiness.) We yawn when someone else yawns because your body thinks that person is responding to a drop in oxygen in the room thus you yourself yawn to increase oxygen in your own blood stream.

Do you get sleepy when some one yawns?

Yes, it is common for people to feel sleepy or have the urge to yawn when they see or hear someone else yawn. This is known as contagious yawning and it happens due to the activation of mirror neurons in the brain, which mimic another person's action, in this case yawning. Contagious yawning is believed to be related to empathy and social bonding.

Why do dogs yawn?

Dogs yawn as a way to calm themselves when they are stressed. An agility dog (dog that does agility tricks) will often yawn just before he does his run as a way to "stretch", or loosen himself up before doing his run. If you have a dog that yawns during obedience classes, it indicates a need for him to be there, and over time he will become less stressed and more relaxed and you will find him yawning less and less. Dogs and other mammals (and some non-mammals) yawn for the same reason that people do: it is a reflexive action due to a lack of oxygen in one's system (most people breathe more slowly when they are tired or bored, which causes a lack of oxygen, which then causes yawning).

Does the word yawn have syllables?

The word yawn has exactly one syllable.

What is an example of contagious behavior?

An example of contagious behavior is yawning. When one person yawns, it often triggers others around them to yawn as well, even if they weren't feeling tired before. This is thought to be a natural response related to empathy and social bonding.
