If one finds one's self at a higher level of intelligence than practically everyone at one's school gets picked on for it is misunderstood often and misunderstands others how should one cope?

• For many decades the very intelligent students were called 'geeks' or 'four eyes' because the other students thought all they did was study and did little else or, they felt they were above everyone else so some students picked on them. However, from the sound of your question and although you may be of higher intelligence your attitude could use a repair. You can be intelligent, but have a good sense of humor and just go out with friends; relax and learn to deal with those that may not be on the same level of intelligence as you are. Kick back and relax and talk about popular movies; Video Games, sports, etc. If you think you are above the rest and act as such with your persona then you will always be misunderstood. It is evident you want to keep good grades (good for you) but fit in and if you do the above you will fit in much better. Once school is out leave your higher intelligence there!
