Banks can sell debts to collection agencies at any time. The write off was likely done after the sale anyhow, and the 1098 was for the amount of money the bank lost overall.
When you close an account you cancel the account, you delete it, if you close an account it won't be there later!!
Classic Closeouts was an online shopping company that got accused for swindling millions of dollars via illegal credit card charges and bank account debits. Consumers were sometimes charged multiple times and many disputed the charges just to either receive no response or some bogus explanation that they had joined Classic Closeouts frequent shopping club. FTC later took care of the situation and stopped the business.
where a person or organisation buys on account, meaning they get the goods or product and will pay for them at a later date.

The easiest would be to call the credit card company and tell them that you would like to close the account. They may require the request in writing, however. I would suggest this anyway so that you have proof that on a particular day you wrote to them to close the account (should there be any descrepencies later).
Yes. Charges that are not charged at the time of arrest can be charged and prosecuted later.
hello yes they can as i have just found out mine was seven years if the find you you cannot get away from it sorry
Jose. DID they repo the car?? If not, I dont see how it could be correct. Was this vehicle a repo at the time and were you paying the remaining balance to the collection agency or was the account a charge off? I am assuming that you are refering to Ford Motor Creit which I used to collect for. In most cases a 3rd party collection agency will purchase the account at pennies on the dollar or the account will be placed with a fee once the account is collected. It is the collection agency responsiblity to update the creditor of payments and in some cases update credit reports. Also it is a good idea to get a confirmed paid in full letter and to send it to the original creditor to make sure they update your credit report correctly.
Later on... They will have account information Next Year
soo this company sends you a check and you have deposit in your account and then they ask you to do these two jobs you do it and then you are asked to transfer the rest of the money to there company which is out of the us. and then a few days later the check bounces and you are responsible for for covering it.. yea its a scam...

Yes. If an investigation reveals that there is enough evidence against you to charge you - you will be charged.

It wouldn't make since to be let go and charged later. It would have to be called in at that time and if one was let go and the marijuana was taken with the officer, one would have to wonder! No way you can be charged later. Not even good sense yes. Double jeapordy does not apply to you because you were not charged. I'm no lawyer but it is very possible to be charged. my vote is dont carry marijuana in the first place!
1999. Then later was bought from luxottica group
You need to contact your insurance agency immediately. You could be charged for theft. You will need to return the money.
