If the married man you are seeing calls you his next wife all the time is he just saying that or does he mean it?

It's possible he is telling the truth, but here is what you do:

If you have been going with him for several months or a couple of years, when he says these things say ... "We'll talk about these plans of yours when I see a ring on my finger!" There are many married men who play around on their wives and have no plans for marrying the mistress so he is getting away with a lot x 2 (the wife and the mistress.) Don't be one of the stats out there. Give him a dead-line to at least start divorce proceedings.

If you don't know much about this man, don't know his wife at all or even if he has kids, watch out! Married men who fool around on their wives (also vice-versa) are lower than a snake's belly. They are weak, have no morals and leave a lot of bodies behind them (people get hurt by people like him) and if you think you can make things any better these married people usually have no intentions of getting married.

I was married before and my husband was a womanizer. I kicked him to the curb and moved out. He was in shock and wanted me back, but I'd had it. Once a cheat always a cheat and I was worth more than that. He had a mistress and he was cheating on her! He made it difficult to get a divorce and refused to cooperate and in between this battle I met my present husband (we have been married 33 years now) but I was straight up with my future husband and he knew how hard I was trying to get that divorce. My future husband and I were planning on getting married eventually, but at least I was giving no excuses and I went after that divorce with a vengence and I won. A year later my present husband and I were married.

So, if this man can't do the same and gives you all sorts of excuses as to why he either hasn't talked to his wife about a divorce or he's telling you his wife won't give him a divorce kick this guy to the curb! He's lying. If you love someone with all your heart then you'll do anything for them and that includes filing for divorse.

Have that hard talk with this guy and let him know you aren't taking anymore of his empty promises. He either gets that divorce and puts an engagement ring on your finger and sets a date for a wedding or you leave! Mean it!

Only a very small percentage of relationships or marriages where the man or woman was cheating before the divorce ever work out. Why? Because the woman who continues the relationship with the husband that cheated always fears in the back of her mind that he will cheat on her as well and she's right!

Please think about this man's wife. I know you probably love him and he's done a good job hauling you into his web of deceit, but think of this ... what if you were his wife and she was you? How would you feel? Don't start off your life with a married man. When you date a married man you lose your dignity and pride and it's simply not worth it. If you meet someone who is in the process of a divorce then that's OK, but this guy doesn't appear to want a divorce all that bad.
