he may be thinking"why get married if i already live her?" he may be content with that, or yes he is using you. just ask him what his future plans are. do that in a civil way or he may become defensive and close up on you. Most men are terrified of marriage (it's a feeling they will lose their freedom and some young men haven't come from an environment in their homes where the parents had a good married relationship so these young men are literally terrified of marriage.) With the divorce rate so much higher now this is the foremost thing on young people's minds. When living on weekends with my boyfriend (now my 2nd husband) it went on for a couple of years and I was not happy about it. I believed that if you love someone enough then you should commit to them. I told him (as gross as it may seem) "You'd better buy this cow because you aren't getting the milk for free any longer!" We split for 6 months, but he came back, begged me to marry him and we've now been married for 34 years and have a good life.
