You need to replace the turn signal flasher; turn on the left side and follow the clicking sound. Even though one side works, a faulty flasher can cause this problem.

probably no because Chevy changed the type of fuel injection and it probably operates at a different pressure.
a repair guy needs to do that for you.
I believe it is in your glove compartment there is an access to your flasher.
