it's true that u lose weight if u dont eat but u will gain it back plus some. the best way to lose weight is the hard way. meaning drink nothing but water eat only 1500 cals a day (no junk food encluding fast food) and do some type of workout that gets ur heart rate up. it works i did it and lost 18 pounds in a month good luck
