It is a possibility to actually "over sleep" in which case you end up feeling worse than under sleeping. You shouldn't sleep more than ten hours. Food is also a big contributer (or lack thereof rather). If you do not eat a healthy breakfast, you body does not have the fuel it requires which causes you to feel run down, energy-less, unmotivated, and just plain tired. This is do to lack of blood sugar. I myself have this problem sometimes. When you feel really tired and can't stay awake through that meeting or lecture, eat a piece of candy and you'll be surprised how awake you may be.
We seem to value being busy more than being healthy, so we don't let ourselves get enough sleep choosing to fill our time with other things. Some people oddly take it as a sign of strength to be overtired, as if getting a good night's sleep were a sign of laziness or poor moral character. Also, not eating healthy foods and getting enough vitamins and minerals can make a person feel tired even when they do get enough sleep.
because you are waiting to fall asleep , but it comes naturally
Could be you are anemic...have your hemaglobin checked out
Yes, it is. Your body does need rest.
It can make you irritable, or grouchy, even nervous. The most notable problem is inability to concentrate, and work performance is generally not as good as it would be if you are getting enough sleep.
It does not matter if a person goes to bed early or not to get a good nights rest. A person can feel tired even if they go o bed early. What matters with sleep, is how many hours a person sleeps.
No people can not go without sleeping and still surviving for more then a couple months. Even after 2 days no sleep you would feel "dead tired". When you sleep you get enerygy and its is important for your growth.
You probably did not get enough sleep. You may want to try to get to bed earlier. If they still persist, you probably should go to a doctor to find out if there are physical issues causing you to be dizzy, tired, and unable to focus. It is likely that getting to bed earlier will solve the issues, though.
I am 16 years old and get roughly 9 hours of sleep each night, but I still get headaches a lot and always feel tires. I have a awesome life at the moment and am happy. My BMI is average and I dont really have that much going on at school or work.
Do you regularly feel like something is wrong with your sleep schedule? Are you tired and groggy even after getting a good eight hours? Your problem may be a sleep disorder. More than just insomnia or bad bedtimes, sleep disorders are serious conditions of misfired brain chemistry, and some are lifelong conditions only treatable with medication. If you think you have a sleep disorder, contact a sleep center near you for testing. It could be the difference between a good night's rest and the rest of your life.
reading. it doesn't even have to be a boring book, it just makes you tired.
Deep tissue massages work out the muscles and release toxins to be flushed out of the body. This can leave the body tired and the muscles sore and tender. If you drink a lot of water, avoid heavy meals and alcohol, stay active, get enough sleep, and even use heat packs, you will be able to recover from your massage more quickly.
