It's all about sticking to a healthy diet. If you don't eat then your body will go into survival mode and then the little bits that you do eat will be put on as fat. You will also not get as much nutrition if you only eat a bit because you need nutrition from a variety of foods. Look up a food pyramid in Google images and have a look to see what you should eat.
