You need the help of a nutritionist. They will take into consideration your Allergies to different foods and PCOS. It should make you feel better to know that more and more people can't tolerate wheat (I am one of them) or grains of any kind. Dairy products are a problem for people "lactose intolerant" but, as you know they now have dairy products out you can eat. I am slim (lost 30 lbs. recently) can't eat wheat or most grains with the exception of flax seed (excellent for the body and makes the hair shine and the skin healthy) and I live in British Columbia near Vancouver, where it's difficult to get good, ripe fruit. I eat bananas for potassium, grapes, mangos, papaya (good for the stomach) watermelon (loaded with vitamin C) and love Pears and peaches along with blackberries and strawberries only if I can get them good and ripe. Thus, it's difficult for people near the city here to get good ripe fruit and we don't always get our daily diet of it. You can make up for it by eating lots of veggies, eat what fruits are available, eat flax seed (can sprinkle it on your cereal or even buy cereal with it in it .. cold cereal that is.) Oats are excellent and it's been proved that oats along with applesauce or apples lowers the cholesterol levels. 8 - 10 glasses of water a day as it flushes out fat and toxins and keeps the organs, especially the kidneys healthy. Some good fats are a necessity to the body and olive oil is the best source. Exercise is extremely important and it can be either heavy-duty weight training at a gym to just fast walking, jogging, biking or a brisk walk as often as possible. If you find it difficult to get out of your home to do these things, then pick one time during the day to walk and the rest of the time exercising in your home. There are loads of good equipment out there and if you go on the Shopping Channel you should be able to pick up a good piece of exercise equipment for a good price.
