If you have a question on your Watchlist do you receive an email update if someone adds to the Discussion page?
Yes, but only if you are set to receive email updates for questions on your watchlist. You can check your email settings by clicking on the wrench icon at the top right of this page. This will take you to a settings page which will allow you to change what email updates you receive, and let you update other relevant information.

How are you notified when someone changes one of your answers?
You can put a question on your watchlist. There is a link on the left that says Watch Question. By selecting that, you add it to your watchlist. When you log in, select My Watchlist and any questions or categories that have changed and you are watching will show in the list.
How do you know if someone has answered your question how will you be notified?
If you asked the question while you were logged in, you will be notified by e-mail that your question has been answered. When you ask a question, it is automatically placed in your watchlist. If you ask a question and it's already on Answers.com, but isn't answered, you can follow that question by clicking "Follow" in the blue column to the left of the question. Any question that you're following gets added to your watchlist, and you receive an e-mail about when it is answered or updated.
How do the answers to WikiAnswers get answered so quickly?
People often have the topics on their Watchlists. Then, when someone else asks a question, that appears on the Watchlist because of the topic it was placed in. They might be able to answer the question. I found this question that way. I had the topic on my Watchlist and saw this.
Can you add a description to my question because its too short?
You can go to the discussion tab and post a messsage on the discussion board. When someone else opens the question, there will be a note there saying that there are comments associated with that question and to see the discussion board.
What if you can't answer the question?
Leave it for someone else. If you have a "snippet" then add it to the discussion area and maybe someone can use that information to answer the question in detail.
How do you when someone actually answers your questions on here?
There are two ways. If you are a member of the site (you have a username), then you can use the "Follow" link to put something on your watchlist. Then the settings for your watchlist can be set to send you an email. OR Whether you are a member or not, you can bookmark the URL of a question in your browser, and then return to it from time to time to see if it gets answered.

Yes, please do so through their message board or the discussion page for the question.
How do you answer a question you don't know?
If you are having a conversation with someone and they ask a question you don't know the answer to, just tell them you don't know the answer. You could suggest someone who might know the answer or go look for the answer in reference materials. If you are asking about Answers.com and WikiAnswer.com, you should just leave the question blank. That way someone who does know the answer will be more likely to see the question and answer it. If you want to know when the question has been answered, you can add it to your Watchlist.
How do you add information to your question?
Use the discussion area. Post your question - then click the answer button. Leave the answer area blank - but click the Discussion tab, and provide any information you want to add. That way, when someone comes across your question they will see a message 'Note: There are comments associated with this question. See the discussion page to add to the conversation.'
Can you talk to someone on WikiAnswers about a question?
Usually, that is what the discussion pages of questions are for. If you look at your blue navigation bar to the left of your screen when you are on a question, there is a 'Discuss' link. From there you can discuss the specific question with other users who come by that question.
Where is the discussion page?
The discussion page appears as a tab - when you try to answer the question, or edit an existing answer. -> another answer by Euros: Click on the "improve", or "improve answer" ORANGE Button and then choose the "DISCUSSION" tab on the right side. There you can discuss anything you want without changing someone else's answer :-)
