Because he's married and that's the right thing to do. We don't all get what we want. Sometimes we do the right thing out of integrity and honesty.

I think maybe he was feeling guilty. Maybe his wife did find out. Maybe he didnt want to hurt his kids. Or maybe he was just using you and the fun was over for him. I don't know. I know its hurtful, painful without him in your life. You had him in your life for 8 months. You became very close to him, he became your best friend, your lover, and you loved him very much.

He stayed with his wife maybe for a lot of reasons. You may never know. But obviously he had feelings for you and maybe he does love you, but he loves her more. He chose her over you for some reason. Who knows, maybe he just told you he still loves you, so you wouldn't hate him or think he used you just for sex.

If this married guy should call you, email you, don't take his calls and don't answer his emails. Avoid him at all cost. It maybe painful and very hard for you, but make this time for you. Let him go. Learn for this hurtful experience and move on. It may take time, but you can do it.
