no the car lot is not responsible they will actually do things to cover up
nosies just to get you to buy the car for example they can put thicker oil
and make the sound of a lifter tapping go away for a little while the oil
breaks down after a little while and you will here the tapping the only
thing you can do now its drive the car until it get so bad that you have
to put new lifters in it i know all of this cause it happens to me when i
bought a blazer and of course they screwed me
