Sounds like jealousy and territorial marking to me. Your dog's been usurped by a new intruder and it's taking attention away, and the changes are upsetting.
Dogs by nature, are pack animals. There's one dog who leads the pack and it's referred to as the alpha male. When the alpha is challenged, a fight usually ensues and if the alpha wins, all is well. If not, the challenger becomes the alpha and the loser is usually castigated. Your dog considered itself to be the alpha in your household. In truth, you are the alpha, but you've probably never established that fact with your dog when it was a puppy. (That in and of itself can be the cause for a lot of behavior problems with pets.)
There are two ways to solve this problem as I see it. One, would be to let your dog re-establish its alpha status with the cat. (It could get a bit rough as the dog disciplines and puts the kitty in its place.) Another would be to lavish a lot more attention on the dog, thereby making it feel as though it's recognized as the alpha in your home by you and the other members of your household, until it feels secure in its postion; enough so that it loses interest in the cat.
I'm no expert here, and I'm sure that others may disagree, but I offer this to you as a way to help you with your problem.
every animal pees
If your cat pees on the carpet instead of its literbox it is peeing for. Territory you need to get ur cat nuttered
when he pees on the carpet or you or the towel then tap him and tell him no but i would keep him on a towel if i were you. but if they do then put them back in the cage.
Yes, If you have a cat that pees on the carpet but you don't know where it is,take the black light and shine it on the carpet it will show the spots where your cat has peed as a light green color.
Buffalo hide they used every part of the body
you shuld put some of his livings in the litter
when he pees on the carpet/indoors, ignore it. do not tell him off or yell at him, just ignore it and take him out to the garden. keep him thereuntil you have cleaned it up. learn the signs for when he is about to go a wee, then take him outside. every time he pees outside give him a treat. he will get the message that:wee outside treatwee inside no treat and go outside.the eventual product will be that he will start asking to go out.
Keep him under close supervision. Immediately when he starts to go, grab him and take him outside to his pee spot. He'll figure it out soon enough.
yea, this girl i know pees like every 2 hours.
