Grass that dies from a gasoline spill or any other reason will stay dead forever. In fact, I don't think I have heard of anything coming back to life other than our savior.
Sorry, I had to do that. Read the question, dead is dead. I think you were wanting to know how long it takes before grass will grow there again. If that is what you are looking for, there are several factors that will determine that. First, how much gasoline was spilled and in how big an area? Next, what type grass do you want to grow? What type of soil is contaminated? What is the climate, annual rainfall, does the area flood, and the season? It could be a matter of just a few months or it could be several years. The best thing to do is dig up the contaminated soil and replace it with new and reseed.
they like long dead brown colour grass like hay
you can find them around tall trees by long grass mostly
"Peat" is a fuel source that looks like it's just soil being dug from the ground... but it's dead grass that has grown in an area for so long that it's just more dead grass on top of other dead grass. It has been dug and dried to be used as fuel for quite a long time, but it isn't technically soil.
Short
The oil spill began April 20.
2010
Grass has a long "a" sound in the word.
awhile O:
In the Long Grass was created in 1984-05.
Yes, gasoline is pronounced with a long "e" sound at the beginning and an "uh" sound at the end.
If you mean, "How long ago did it occur," then the actual explosion that triggered the spill occurred on April 20th, 2010. If you are referring to the duration of the spill, then it is technically still an issue.
