Absolutely not! The proportioning valve is a very important part of the brake system. Don't even think of bypassing it. Replace the valve if it is bad. Don't even think about it! That's one of the few things you can't screw around with. If its bad; replace it!
No self respecting licensed mechanic will ever answer this one.
No.
I'm the one asking the question
I need hlep to get batter for my car It's tord Taurus 2004 please hlep me out want kind of batter i need
No you can not bypass the ac pulley but you can by a bypass pulley at the part store for about 40$. I just got one for my 2006 ford taurus the ac pump locked up and burned my belt it can take a while to put on but its worth it if you dont mind not having your ac working.
Can't. It's integrated into the vehicle control computer.
you cant. the top side of the belt will rub on the a/c pully
Can't. It's integrated into the vehicle control computer.
Unfortunately the Taurus needs the AC Pulley to turn the water pump you CAN get a bypass pully for 30 bux and use the same belt and routing but the shorter no AC belt will not work on that engine
If there is a bypass pulley you'd have to go to a dealer to get it. You can remove ac compressor and get a short belt bypass it that way. Same belt routing minus the ac. I just did my 2004 Ford Taurus used a 8206k belt. was a lil hard to get on or maybe I'm a wimp.AnswerGo to www.dormanproducts.com and look up an A/C bypass pulley for your vehicle. Then go to www.rockauto.com to buy it.
WHY????? The brake on/off switch is is an easy part to replace! Buy a new one, or get one for $5 from a junkyard - but do NOT bypass it. See "Related Questions" below for more
