Calais
Google it, dog face :)
It isn't 90 minutes as there isn't a ferry directly from London to France, so the first ferry would be from Portsmouth or Southampton etc, but the shortest ferry would be about 180minutes - 3 hours - but on the other hand the longest would be the over night ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg being over night and about 12 hours long. But that isn't too bad as the accommodation is very good and staff are easy to get along with. But the travelling time really depends on where you are travelling from and to for your stay/time in France. :)
Ah well, it depends. Currently, P&O Dover-Calais are running the cheapest day trips, Norfolk Line Dover-Dunkerque the cheapest advance-booked 5-day trips. But all fares vary literally from hour to hour. Dover-Calais with P&O or SeaFrance, of Dover-Dunkerque with Norfolk Line are the cheapest routes. The quickest way to get to France would be by Train via the Chanel Tunnel, or by a fast Ferry that operates between March until October from Portsmouth to Cherbourg. If you live be Dover, the Dover to Calais ferry would be an option too. I have also found a flight listed from Bristol to Dinard Airport. I hope this has helped you.
As far as I know there is no ferry service between Dover and Belgium anymore. From Dover you have a ferry to Calais in France.
It's a widely used route, but i prefer Dover to Dunkerque
