If you are suppose to be your best friend's good friend, then who needs enemies. There is no reason you can't ask your friend to come along. Be more honest with yourself and admit it's more important for you to impress these other 3 friends and risk hurting your close friend and that you want to have more freedom away from your best friend. You have two choices: Tell your best friend they are not invited and risk hurting them and losing a good friendship, or ask them along. When in doubt ask yourself how you would feel if you this scene was turned around and it was you that was being left out (on purpose!) Shame on you! Marcy
