It depends on the school. Some credits are good forever, while some may have a seven to ten year cut-off. There are schools that will let you test out of certain courses also. However, for obtain this information, I would suggest you contact the Office of the Registrar at the school you plan to attend. They will be able to direct you appropriately.

They cannot be (I believe) developmental courses, which are institutional credits taken as a result of the college basic skills test.
