If you have a jammed gas pedal tap it until it comes loose?

If you have a jammed gas pedal, rather than tapping it until it comes loose, try shifting the car into neutral. Slow down and guide the car to a safe place to stop and then turn off the car.

If your gas pedal jams tap it with your foot until it comes loose?

Put the transmission in neutral, pull over and park the vehicle when it's safe to do so. Then contact your trusted garage or mechanic for advice. I wouldn't drive it until it was fixed.

How do you change a clutch master cylinder on a 2003 F150?

Not too bad. Remove the line from it. Remove the bolts holding it on. remove the clip under the dash that attaches it to the pedal. It will come out. Reverse the order to install the new unit. Take the bleeder screw loose for the slave cylinder. Loose, not all the way out. Add fluid. If you wait and keep it full, gravity will bleed it for you. If not, pump the clutch pedal several times and hold it down. Loosen the bleeder screw at the slave cylinder. Air and fluid will come out. Keep doing that until the pedal is firm and nothing but fluid comes out. That's it. Good luck.

What could cause a loss of brake pressure in your Saturn?

A leak of fluid somewhere. Check all lines and hoses for a leak and fix until the pedal is firm and does not loose pressure

The clutch pedal on 93 accord ex is loose the clutch fluid is full the clutch is good but the pedal is loose?

I have a 95 Honda Civic with that exact problem. In fact the clutch was just replaced with all new parts about two months ago. Is it unsafe to drive? Everything else seems to work just fine. Except there is absolutely no resistance from the pedal until you get down to about 3/4 of the way down you usually would.

How does a sustain pedal work?

The sustain pedal lifts the dampers off of the strings, allowing them to vibrate until the pedal is released.

How do you bleed ABS brake system on 1995 Monte Carlo 3.1?

Have a helper pump the brake pedal several times then hold pressure on it. Loosen the bleeder valve at a wheel caliper, and let fluid out slowly until the pedal reaches the floor. Close the valve and have the helper release the pedal and pump it again. Repeat until no air comes out with the fluid, then move to the next wheel.

What does pedal similarly mean in music?

What is electronic pedal control in a VW?

It's an electronically-controlled gas pedal. One of the most important things it does is keep you from doing burnouts down the street--it monitors the wheels and, if they break loose, backs you out of the gas until they hook up again. This way you don't tear stuff up.

What does the sustain pedal of a piano do?

Also called damper pedal, a sustain pedal of a piano is used to maintain the sounds of the notes played. It occurs until the sustain pedal is released.

Why does your brake still go straight to floor you have changed master cylinder power booster and bleed the brakes many times?

Most likely that you still have air in the lines. Make sure the brake pedal is held down until the bleed screw is tightened back up between pumping and bleeding cycles, otherwise air will be sucked back into the system. pump brake pedal until there is pressure hold pressure on pedal loosen bleed screw ( air or fluid should come out and pedal should go to floor ) hold pedal to floor tighten screw pump pedal again repeat this for all 4 wheels and until only clean fluid comes out. The pedal should get better as you work through all the wheels.
