If your parents are in prison and you are 15 almost 16 and passed the 8th grade in Montana can you drop out and live on your own legally or would you have to go foster care?

Montana's legal age of majority is 18. The state does however have emancipation status and has given early emancipation rights to those person's who are at least 16 years of age and who qualify under the requirements of the law. (Montana Code Annotated Title 41, Chapter 3-Pt.4 and Chapter 5-Pt.1).
