Because your spouse is a jerk and telling tales behind your back! How else would she get the information. For men that cheat on their girlfriends or wives they will lie about how they were treated, and the funny thing is, these useless guys actually believe what they are saying. Why do they do it? Because they feel guilty for cheating and have to find some excuse for justifying having an affair. Trust me, this relationship with his mistress won't work out either, because their relationship is based on lies from YOUR SPOUSE! Most women have a protective streak in them and she is protecting him, but I have a sneaking suspicion things aren't going too well between them. When someone "protests too much" there is usually a ugly little seed there that is growing and it's not in favor of his mistress. Hold your head high, know who you are, and those who know you and are your family members or friends will know whether it's a lie or not and for the rest of them ... give them the raspberry!
