if youre 13 you will grow a lot more and maybe lose weight but you have to do daily exercise.
A scale can weigh either one, and it can also weigh a pound of feathers.
depends on how tall you are and also what gender you are. if you're short and 170 lbs, then you're overweight. But if you're really tall and 170 then you might not be. Also, if you're very muscular, you probably aren't overweight, because believe it or not, muscle weighs more than fat, but it doesnt look like it.
Large dogs usually weigh more than 75 pounds so a 96 pounder would be in that range. Of course, it could also be a medium size dog that's extremely overweight.
From what I have found 155 is overweight. But you should check for yourself. The best way is by using a BMI (body mass index) calculator. Be aware that if you have alot of muscle this calculator may not be accurate. The best calculators require height, weight, age, and the date of measurement. also it depends on your age
Fat is bulky and lumpy so if you carry an extra five pounds of fat, you'll be lumpier than with five pounds more muscle. A five pound pile of fat will take up more space (volume) than a five pound pile of muscle; but five pounds is still five pounds. The correct way to state the muscle weighs more than fat scenario is, "Muscle is heavier by volume than fat." A woman weighing 150 pounds with 19% fat will look much smaller (and be much healthier) than a woman at 150 pounds with 35% fat. They weigh the same, yet the composition is different. Because muscle is more dense than fat the person with less fat and more muscle will look smaller.
According to the body mass index you are underweight.
It all depends on your age, and muscle weighs more than fat. But if it was like this: under 18 (not athletic): Yes you are overweight Under 18 (athletic): You could cut down on the foods you eat. 18 - 35 years old (athletic): You could drop a few pounds for your mental health sake. 18 - 35 (sedentary life style): Yes, you are overweight! 40+: Sightly overweight, you should try to be a bit more active!
No, but it also depends on where your weight is. It could be muscle, muscle weighs considerable more than fat. So you could be in shape and weigh more than if you were out of shape.
If you mean that if you are overweight,it depends on your height. For example I am 5'6 12 years old and weigh 156 lbs.My stomach is flat so im actually pretty healthy. So it also depends if your stomach fat also.If you are flat like me then you have nothing to worry about.
no you are fine. you probably haven't stopped growing yet either
For a twelve year old with that height, that's actually the average healthy weight. If anything, 16 year old who weighs that much is unhealthy.Yes, I'm 16 and weigh 120 pounds. For a twleve year old, that's alot. What his activity like? Does he sit and do nothing, or excecise? The only factor changing my hypothesis is wether or not its muscle. If its muscle, than that's good actually, but too much muscle can kill you as they need a costant supply of nutrients.^^^^^^^^^^^^ then u r way 2 skinny jk no it depends on how ur built. i weigh 125.5 and it really is not a big deal don't worry... i am 13 also. and a female. and i am 5"3 lol so guess what don't listen to this person . ur not overweight
You don't say how old you are or what sex you are but your Body Mass Index (24.6)is at the upper limit of normal if you are an adult. As long as you are fit with some muscle mass you are not overweight. The latest thinking also suggests that your waist mesurement should be less than half your height, in your case 30 inches.
