Walking, Running and Cycling are good ways to lose weight, as you can decide how long to do it for, and at what intensity. Now the evenings are lighter and the weather is better, I would suggest a 30mins walk on a Sunday, 30mins light jog on a monday and a 30mins cycle ride with a friend or family member on a Tuesday, and follow the same pattern for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, giving yourself Saturday night free. You can't do it by just exercising more, a better diet will make the biggest difference. Drink water instead of drinks such as coke, eat good meals so that you do not feel the need to snack between, never skip breakfast and choose foods with low levels of saturated fat and sugar, but higher in things like protein, unsaturated fats and carbohydrates. A few weeks of no alcohol, or at least very little, will also help as alcohol is full of calories.
To lose weight, you need a negative energy balance. This means, using more energy than you require. Simply, this means burning of more calories each day than you take in each day. Walking/Cycling places instead of driving will also help massively.Type your answer here...
