if it's the key in ignition chime just remove the upper and lower steering column covers and unplug the connector that looks like a horseshoe
try pulling the drl relay located inside the hood passenger by side headlights. Or pull the fuse to the relay. Good luck,
I would first check all fuses. My 2002 uses a weird configuration and requires several fuses to work all of the lights properly.
if they are daytime running lights you can not shut them off without pulling the fuse. but if you are parked and want them to go off you can apply the emergency brake and they will go off til you let off the emergency brake.
I recently replaced my front and rear lights with led's. If the removal of the taillights is the same all you have to do is lower your tailgate and remove the 2 screws holding on the lights. pulling out the lights i had to use a screwdriver to work them out.
You can not disable the odometer by pulling a fuse.
NO. I just had mine changed out.
Pulling the stalk towards you and letting go will let you activate the dipped headlights when the stalk is twisted. Pushing back activates the mainbeam.
taillights or brake lights?it is common on many vehicles for the brake light switch (connected directly to the brake pedal) to stick over time. try gently pulling back on the brake pedal with your toe and see if the lights go off.if it is the actual taillights then i would look for a short in the wiring, possibly near the taillights themselves or right at the light switch in the cab.
It you need to turn your switch to get the headlights on......try pulling out on it. That's how my Dodge pick-up works.
you can disable it by pulling the relay or better yet the fuse. its under the hood where all of the relays are. i have a 98 and its on the drivers side. on the cover, it will tell you which are which. just pull it out when the car is off and no more ABS.
The switch itself is located within the multifunction-switch and is operated by pulling the turn signal stem toward you.
Very temporarily, I think, by pulling up on the handbrake a bit.
